Video!

I'm learning how to produce a video.  Just bought a new Panasonic Lumix DS7 that shoots HiDef video.  Life is good!

Maine Calls!

There is a possibility that I will be moving to Maine sometime in the not too distant future!  How exciting!!

I'm also planning a trip to the desert of Arizona and Utah.  How fortunate to be able to photograph these two diverse places.  I am, indeed, blessed

Infrared camera

Well folks, my camera came back from the shop, all converted to shoot infrared.  I took a few shots on the way to work (yeah, couldn't wait!) and I am totally blown away!  It is even better than I had hoped for.  I have attached my very first effort with the new toy.

24-105 lens

The new 24-105mm f/4 Canon L lens is here.  Can't wait to shoot with it.  Still waiting for my old digital 20D to come back from being "reborn" as an infrared camera!  I'll keep you posted.

New beginnings

Hi everyone,

I'm feeling new beginnings for 2011.  It's an exciting time for me as I am truly in transition.  As my photography takes a leap to the foreground in my life, I want to celebrate this event.  Right now I will offer $25 off on any sitting booked for the month of January.  If you book a wedding and/or engagement shoot, I will waive the sitting fee entirely!

Engagement portraits

I'm really pleased at the feedback I'm getting about my portraits.  I am "old school" in my approach to portrait lighting and mood.  Thanks to study of the masters and a recent seminar with Clay Blackburn, I'm refining my technique and creating a signature style.  Hope you all enjoy the results.

Photoshop creativity

I am constantly amazed at the images I can create in photoshop.  I took a shot I did with a model for a pregnancy shoot (done in the studio) and placed her in Antelope Canyon in Arizona.  Not a finished image, to be sure, but I am intriqued with the concept.
